What You’ll Do:

You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and further developing applications in the payment space, catering to the needs of our prestigious FinTech clients. These applications are for example high availability transaction switches.

• Your daily tasks will range from coding changes and implementing new features to interacting directly with customers and providing top-notch third-level support.
• You’ll be the go-to person for finding and squashing bugs, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and their customers.
• Collaboration is key! You’ll work closely with the client and our team members in Australia and occasionally connect with our European counterparts to align on project goals.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Beyond the payment applications, you’ll also contribute to our internal automation processes. Imagine creating scripts for our ERP system to build an entire billing engine for our subscription products.

Required Skills: To excel in this role, you should bring:

• 3-5 years of experience in software, preferably in the FinTech space
• Proficiency in C#/ASP.NET (We’re all about the latest .NET 8)
• Expertise in EF Core and LINQ
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL
• TCP/Socket network programming skills
• Experience with Dependency Injection
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps
• A knack for Docker and Kubernetes (Azure Kubernetes Service or Red Hat OpenShift)
• Stellar problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
• Bonus points for Zoho Deluge scripting knowledge

Location:

This is a hybrid role with flexibility for remote work. We’re actively seeking candidates in New South Wales (NSW), particularly in Newcastle and Sydney.
