Job Description
Purpose of the job
- This role is responsible for provision of strategic oversight to all revenue collection in East & South of Nairobi.
Key Responsibilities of the job
- Lead the formulation and implementation of strategic plans, policies, procedures and best practice with departmental heads and policy unit.
- Overseeing the revenue mobilization and collection activities to meet the set targets.
- Overseeing Taxpayer Base Expansion activities to meet the set targets.
- Participate in the departmental policy making activities
- Coordinating revenue collection work plans through feedback reports so as to achieve set targets.
- Facilitate implementation of corporate initiatives in the division: Audit, Integrity, QMS and Risk Management.
- Drive initiatives to improve ethics, culture and facilitate change management.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on revenue matters.
- Provide regular reports and advice on revenue related matters to the KRA Management.

Academic qualification:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics or related field from a recognized institution.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
Professional qualification / Membership to Professional Bodies: kra jobs

- Membership in a recognized professional body
Work experience
- Minimum of 10 years work experience in similar role with at least five (5) years at a senior management level in a comparable organization.
