Job Summary:

The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to increase product visibility, drive sales, and strengthen relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders. They work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and effective market penetration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, merchandising, and in-store activations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create strategies for channel expansion and market penetration.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to refine marketing plans.
  • Develop and manage trade budgets, ensuring ROI on marketing initiatives.
  • Establish strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to enhance product placement.
  • Monitor and evaluate trade marketing programs to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with brand marketing teams to ensure alignment of brand messaging across channels.
  • Train and support sales teams with the necessary marketing tools and insights.
  • Track performance metrics and generate reports on trade marketing activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing, brand management, or sales.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in market research, sales analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with retail and distribution channels.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods industries.
  • Knowledge of category management and shopper marketing.
  • Strong digital and e-commerce trade marketing skills.
