Southwest airlines internships

The Southwest Airlines Campus Reach Neurodiversity Internship Program offers 12-week, paid internships within our Technology department for eligible part-time and full-time college students. This program is designed for neurodivergent individuals with autism spectrum disorder.

• Application dates: January 22 – January 29, 2024  
• Internship dates: May 21 – August 9, 2024 (12 weeks)
• Design: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday during normal business hours
• Format: We offer virtual internships with optional, in-person opportunities throughout the semester to work with your Team and visit our Corporate Campus in Dallas, Texas
• Stipend: $1,000 to put toward upgrading to faster internet speeds or other work-related expenses
• Program: This tailored program will provide valuable work experience, career coaching, and mentorship for individuals with autism spectrum disorder. From the time an application is submitted, to the end of the summer internship, students will be supported to fully showcase and grow their strengths, abilities, and potential.
• There’s a limited group of states or localities ineligible for Employees to perform their work offsite. Those ineligible locations include: Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Washington, Wyoming
• If you currently reside in an ineligible state, you may relocate to an eligible state and be considered for an internship
