Job Description
Sub-county Revenue Officer – 2 Posts

Duties and Responsibilities
- Performance of duties of revenue collector
- Implementation of established revenue system
- Prompt collection and accounting of all revenue due to the government within areas of jurisdiction.
- Supervision of revenue staff within areas of jurisdiction
- Maintain schedules for revenue sources within the Sub County.
- Undertake periodic surveys to determine feasibility of revenue collection
- Daily monitoring and reporting
- Submission of statutory reports and records within set deadlines.
- Requisition, safe custody and accounting for receipt books for revenue collection within areas of jurisdiction.
- Preparation of AIEs, Expenditure returns, quarterly reporting of Revenue and Expenditures
Requirements for Appointment-Sub-county Revenue Officer
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business Course,
- Certificate in Accounting Packages
- Computer Literacy Certification
- Three (3) years experience in relevant field
OR
- Certified Public Accountant Section II
- Certificate in Accounting Packages
- Computer Literacy Certification
- At least three (3) years experience in relevant field
